October 17, 2017 Board Meeting Agenda Item #10 Title APPROVAL OF THE DATA EVALUATION USE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE INTERNATIONAL DATA EVALUATION CENTER/OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA Description The International Data Evaluation Center (IDEC) at the Ohio State University (OSU) is responsible for collecting and analyzing data for Reading Recovery programs in the United States, including the program in Sarasota County. The IDEC/OSU will create reports that will enable the district to evaluate the effectiveness of the Reading Recovery program. The agreement specifies the terms for sharing and using the data. Recommendation That the agreement between the International Data Evaluation Center/Ohio State University and the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida be approved as presented.
